GB Pixel Art Jam 2024 / Tlaloc, God of Storms

Hey! It's my first time participating in a Jam, and I must say it was quite fun!

I've been doing pixel art for a few years now but I think that's the first time I made a scene of that scale.

Honestly, choosing which color palette I wanted to use was the hardest part. But I ended up settling for Mangavania. The colors were just too cool not to use.

Recently, a friend came up with a list of things to make art of everyday of october. And I though "well, since this year's GB Jam theme is quite flexible, why not kill two birds with one stone?". The theme of today's drawing was "thunder", and me, a huge Aztec Mythology nerd, saw in that a great opportunity to draw my favorite Aztec God :D
